Open the effect
Open an audio file in the editor and choose Audio. Select SoundEcho & reverb and enable the effect. Choose a preset, play a short section and adjust it while listening.
The same controls also process the soundtrack of a video.
Echo or reverb?
Echo produces separate repeats. Reverb adds many reflections that blend into a sense of space. Echo works well for rhythmic repeats; reverb makes a voice or instrument feel as if it is playing in a room or hall.
Presets are starting points and every setting remains editable.
Four delay styles
Echo gives clear repeats. Slapback starts with one quick reflection, useful for vocals. Ping-pong alternates repeats between left and right; listen with stereo headphones.
Tape delay softens each repeat for a warmer sound. Increase Repeats for a longer trail, or set it to zero for one reflection.
Four spaces
Room gives a short, close reflection. Hall creates a wider musical space. Plate gives a dense, bright texture that can suit vocals. Cathedral starts with a long, spacious decay for ambient passages.
Reverb decay sets how long reflections fade; Pre-delay leaves a gap before they begin so the original sound stays clear.
Mix, brightness and width
Effect mix at 0% keeps only the original; 100% keeps only the effect. Start around 15–30% for music. Brightness lowers or raises the echo cutoff: lower values sound warmer, higher values retain more detail.
Stereo width at zero centers the reflections; higher values spread them. Mix stereo to mono removes the stereo spread. Turn Enable effect off to compare without losing your settings.
Match a song tempo
For a delay style, enter the song tempo in BPM, choose a quarter note, eighth note, dotted eighth or eighth-note triplet, then choose Match delay to tempo. At 120 BPM, a quarter note is 500 ms and an eighth is 250 ms.
Loaderly uses the BPM you enter; it does not automatically detect tempo. You can still adjust Delay time by hand.
Export and keep your settings
The effect is saved with the edit and is included in audio exports, edited video soundtracks and visualizer videos. Preview and export share the same effect model. The exported clip keeps its selected duration: reflections stop at its ending, so leave silence in the source if you need the full decay.
Lower Volume if strong settings distort. Reset in Echo & reverb resets that effect only, keeping your level, tone and playback edits.
