Choose the right download

Choose Windows, macOS or Linux on the download page. Loaderly suggests your system when it can recognize it.

  • Windows: install Loaderly from Microsoft Store.
  • Mac: open Apple menuAbout This Mac. If Chip shows Apple M, choose Apple M; if Processor shows Intel, choose Intel.
  • Linux: choose Install on Ubuntu or Debian for a regular installation, or Run without installing for an AppImage. Both require a 64-bit Intel or AMD computer.

Install on Windows

  1. Open the Loaderly page in Microsoft Store.
  2. Choose Get or Install, then open Loaderly when installation finishes.

Get Loaderly from Microsoft Store

Microsoft Store manages updates for this edition. If you have an older standalone Windows copy, install the Store edition to receive future Windows updates. Keep the old copy until you have checked your library and settings in the Store edition.

Apple’s guide to opening an app on your Mac

Install on Linux

For Ubuntu or Debian:

  1. Download Install on Ubuntu or Debian.
  2. Open the DEB file with your software installer.
  3. Choose Install, then open Loaderly from your applications.

To use the AppImage without installing:

  1. Download Run without installing.
  2. Right-click the file, open its properties and enable Allow executing as a program.
  3. Double-click the AppImage to start Loaderly.

If AppImage reports missing FUSE support, install FUSE using your distribution’s instructions, or use the DEB on Ubuntu or Debian. Run Loaderly as your normal user.

Check for a new version

Windows: Microsoft Store manages Loaderly updates. Open the Store from PreferencesAboutUpdates to check for a newer version.

Mac and Linux: open PreferencesAboutUpdates and choose Check for updates. From version 2.1.2, automatic checks run every 15 minutes while Loaderly is open and when you return after being away. Finish active jobs before replacing or installing the app.

Update or repair

On Windows, update through Microsoft Store. On Linux, install the newer DEB or use the newer AppImage.

On Mac, version 2.1.3 adds Restart and update: after the download is verified and active jobs finish, Loaderly replaces the current application and reopens. Keep the application in a writable Applications folder. When upgrading from version 2.1.2 or older, quit Loaderly with Command+Q and replace it in Applications manually this time. Your library and preferences stay in place.

If installation fails, contact support@loaderly.app with the message you see.

Uninstall

On Windows, use Installed apps. On macOS, quit Loaderly and move it from Applications to the Trash. On Linux, remove the installed package using your software manager, or delete the AppImage.

Removing the app does not delete your downloaded media.
