Language and startup in General
- Open PreferencesGeneral and choose the interface language. Arabic uses right-to-left layout. English uses left-to-right.
- Enable Start Loaderly when I sign in if you want it to open after login. Turn it off at any time.
- Use System startup settings when available to review the operating system’s setting. Loaderly respects changes made there.
Appearance has its own tab
Open Appearance for light and dark modes, themes, colors, transparency and layout. Use the live preview while changing text size and spacing. Your changes are saved automatically.
Menus, messages and dialogs follow the selected style. Visualizer thumbnails keep the colors of the design they show. Seeing the desktop through the window is available on supported Windows and Mac devices.
Other systems keep a readable solid background.
Download defaults and save locations
Downloads groups default quality, start behavior, YouTube engine, quick capture and named save locations. Set video and audio destinations here. The main Downloads page keeps one-off choices before Download now. Quick downloads and Queue settings open their own panels.
Configure the floating button, automatic capture and shortcuts
Subtitles, AI and About
Subtitles & AI keeps subtitle download settings separate from AI translation provider, credentials and model choices. Local speech recognition is prepared in the editor’s Audio workspace. About shows version and app-update options. Windows app updates are Store-managed.

On and off switches
Switches move right when on and left when off in both interface languages. Turning a switch on also changes its color. This applies to startup, quick downloads and the floating button.
